2. Hosting and server logs

IONOS SE hosts this website. For secure and reliable delivery, the host may process the requested resource, timestamp, referrer, browser and device information, response status, transferred volume and IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are retained only as required for operation, security and applicable legal duties.

3. Interactive map

The map software is hosted locally. Map tiles are loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation service at tile.openstreetmap.org. When the map is displayed, your browser sends technical connection data including your IP address and referrer to OSMF. OSMF acts as an independent controller. See the OSMF Privacy Policy. The map is a central requested feature of this project; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. OpenStreetMap attribution remains visible on the map.

4. Spotted cookie

When you actively select “I spotted this Fella”, the site stores the functional cookie fella_spotted. It contains only a list of internal Fella IDs, not your name, location, photo or account information. It is used solely to grey out Fellas you marked on this device. It expires after 400 days and is restricted to /fella/, SameSite=Lax and secure HTTPS transmission. Because it is created only for the persistence feature you explicitly request, it is treated as necessary for that selected function under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. You can deselect an individual Fella at any time or delete all spotted data below.

5. Protected studio

The non-public editor uses a short-lived, HTTP-only session cookie strictly required for authentication and CSRF protection. Public visitors do not receive this cookie.

6. External links

Data is sent to Reddit or other linked services only after you activate the relevant external link. Those providers are independently responsible for their processing.

7. Public locations

The public API contains sticker locations, place names, countries and internal IDs. It is not intended to contain visitor data. Precise private addresses, names and visitor photographs are not collected through this site.

8. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact the controller using the details above.
